- Is the Entry Fee per person, or per team?

The total distance is approximately 6-7 miles. Each partner will complete the entire course by running 3 miles (approx) and biking 3 miles (approx). - What are the obstacles?
Obstacles will be designed to fit the landscape of each venue individually, but past events have been a cargo net crawl, a low wall, monkey bars, cargo net climb, or a hay bale obstacle. And at every race teams will have to conquer the famous Mud Pit before crossing the finish line together. - How old do you have to be to participate?
The minimum age is 14. - What skill level do you have to be at to compete?
The event is achievable for all competitive levels and is intended for an active enthusiast looking for a unique challenge. - Do you and your partner have to trade off running and biking or can each person choose what to do?
You must trade off. One partner runs while the other bikes. You switch tasks at each obstacle/transition area. - How do transitions work?
The person biking will reach the obstacle, drop the bike in the designated area, complete the obstacle and begin running. The runner will then arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike, and begin biking. Most likely, they will pass their teammate running along the course. If you cannot find your bike, DO NOT just begin running! Wait for your teammate to arrive with the bike and switch as usual. - Should I start running or biking first?
The race will be divided into 5 legs. The stronger runner should begin running, and the stronger biker should begin biking first. Whoever begins the race running will do three running legs and two biking legs, and the person who bikes first will do three biking legs and two running legs. - Do you and your partner share a bike?
Yes. If you are different heights, you will want to mark the bike post so that you can easily adjust the seat when you trade off at each obstacle. - What is the difficulty of the terrain?
The terrain varies in most cities from paved, gravel, dirt and trail. There will be some small hills, but no extreme hill climbs. The course will be somewhat challenging, yet it will not require technical mountain biking experience and is intended for all levels of athletes. - What is the average finishing time?
Most teams finish between 45 minutes and an hour, with an approximate time of 50 minutes. - Where can I find a course map?
A course map will be posted two weeks from the event. Please note the maps will not be to scale. - What do I need to bring?
Bring a bike, two helmets, running shoes, and gear to change into after the race. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy. Also remember your I.D.; in order to enter the beer garden, you MUST have a valid ID proving you are at least 21 years old. - Are there refunds?

What happened? Your buddy decide not to compete with you? They wimp out over a little mud? Don’t sweat it. If it is ONE WEEK prior to the race and you have another bud you want to bring along, please submit a buddy change request. You’ll need all of your buddy’s information to fill it out, but we’ll add them to your team, and get you hooked up with your new partner! Please note these requests must be received one week before race day in order to be valid. For example, if the race was on Sunday, June 8th the Change of Buddy Request Form must be received by Friday, May 30th. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
